  • Q Does YZCONN manufacture custom wire harnesses?

    A Yes. YZCONN manufactures custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies based on customer drawings, BOMs, samples, wiring diagrams, pinout specifications and application requirements.

    Our engineering team supports projects from initial technical review and DFM through prototype development, testing and production.

  • Q Can YZCONN manufacture a wire harness from our drawing or BOM?

    Yes. Customer drawings, BOMs, wiring diagrams and connector part numbers can be used as the basis for project review and quotation.
    Our engineers review key requirements such as wire specifications, connector and terminal compatibility, circuit configuration, dimensions, routing, assembly requirements and testing criteria before production.

  • Q Can you manufacture a wire harness from an existing sample?

    A
    Yes. A physical sample can be used as an engineering reference when a complete drawing is not available.
    Depending on the project, our team can review connector configuration, wire type, terminal arrangement, dimensions, pinout and assembly structure to establish the manufacturing requirements.

  • Q Can YZCONN review our BOM before quotation?

  • Q Can you quote from a sample or photo?

  • Q Can prototype requirements be reviewed before production?

    A Yes. Prototype requirements can be reviewed with the customer before production, including drawings, BOM, connector specifications, testing criteria, labeling, packaging and other project-specific requirements.

  • Q Can YZCONN support repeat production for OEM projects?

    A Yes. For qualified projects, YZCONN can support repeat production after the product specification and manufacturing process have been approved.
    Production requirements, quality controls, engineering changes and supply planning can be managed according to the customer's program requirements.

  • Q How does YZCONN control wire harness quality?

    A Quality is controlled throughout the manufacturing process rather than relying only on final inspection.
    Depending on the project, quality controls may include incoming material inspection, wire processing control, crimping verification, assembly inspection, electrical testing, visual inspection, final inspection and production traceability.

  • Q Do you perform 100% electrical testing?

    A For applicable wire harness and cable assembly projects, 100% electrical testing can be implemented according to the agreed product specification and test requirements.
    Typical testing may include continuity, pin-to-pin verification, open/short detection, insulation resistance or other customer-defined electrical requirements.

  • Q Can YZCONN work with customer-specified connector brands?

    A Yes. YZCONN can work with customer-specified connector brands and part numbers where applicable.
    Customers can provide approved part numbers, drawings or approved vendor requirements for engineering review and quotation.
