YZCONN manufactures custom LVDS cable assemblies for LCD displays, display panels, controller boards and high-speed electronic equipment. Our LVDS cables are available with different connectors, pin counts, cable structures and lengths to match the electrical and mechanical requirements of your device.
From compact I-PEX and micro-coaxial display cables to DF14, FFC/FPC and multi-wire LVDS harnesses, we support OEM cable assembly projects from prototype development to volume production.
LVDS, or Low-Voltage Differential Signaling, transmits data through differential signal pairs. It is widely used where high-speed data needs to travel between a display, controller board or electronic module while maintaining signal integrity and controlling electromagnetic interference.
For an LVDS cable assembly, cable construction is just as important as connector selection. Differential pairs, shielding, cable length and impedance all affect signal performance.
Depending on the application, an LVDS harness may use twisted pairs, micro-coaxial cable, flat flexible cable or other cable structures. The final configuration should be matched to the display interface and PCB layout rather than selected only by connector appearance.
A major application for LVDS cables is the connection between LCD panels and controller boards.
YZCONN supplies LVDS display cable assemblies for industrial monitors, embedded displays, testing equipment, control panels and other electronic devices. Available configurations include I-PEX display cables, DF14 cable assemblies, 30-pin and 40-pin LVDS cables, micro-coaxial assemblies and customized LCD screen wiring harnesses.
Connector orientation, pin assignment and cable routing can be adjusted to fit compact equipment layouts where installation space is limited.
For applications using flexible flat conductors, our Flat Cable range also includes FFC and FPC cable assembly solutions.
LVDS cable assemblies are often designed around a specific display panel or controller board, so standard off-the-shelf cables may not match the required interface.
YZCONN can customize cable length, connector model, pin count, pitch, wire arrangement, shielding and branch configuration according to your drawing or sample.
Common project information includes:
Display or connector part number
Pinout and wiring diagram
Cable length
Pin count and connector pitch
Shielding or grounding requirements
Required quantity
I-PEX, DF14, JST-compatible and other compact connector options can be integrated according to the application.
If your project requires a connector that is not part of an existing LVDS configuration, our Customized Connector solutions can provide additional connector options.
For high-speed differential signals, a cable is not simply a group of wires between two connectors.
Pair routing, conductor geometry, shielding, impedance continuity and cable length can influence signal quality. Poorly matched connectors or cable structures may introduce impedance discontinuities and increase signal loss or interference.
For this reason, the LVDS cable should be selected according to the electrical interface, transmission distance and operating environment of the final equipment.
Where electromagnetic interference is a concern, shielded cable or micro-coaxial construction may be used. For shorter internal connections where flexibility and compact routing are more important, FFC/FPC or fine-pitch cable structures may be more suitable.
Although LCD and panel connections are the most common use, custom LVDS cable assemblies are also used in industrial automation, medical equipment, test instruments, embedded computers, automotive electronics and machine vision systems.
Each application places different demands on cable size, flexibility, shielding and connector retention. Industrial equipment may require stronger cable protection, while compact displays may prioritize small connectors and tight bend space.
For industrial machines and control equipment requiring additional power and signal connections, see our Industrial Wiring Harness solutions.
YZCONN supports OEM and ODM LVDS cable projects based on drawings, connector specifications, samples or existing cable assemblies.
During manufacturing, connector assembly, wire termination, dimensions and electrical continuity can be inspected according to the product requirements. Prototype production can also be used to confirm connector fit, cable routing and pin assignment before larger production quantities.
Whether you are developing a new LCD product or replacing an existing display cable supplier, we can manufacture the cable around your required interface instead of forcing your design to fit a standard assembly.
Send us your display model, connector part number, pinout, drawing or existing cable sample together with the required cable length and order quantity.
Our team can review the connection requirements and recommend a suitable LVDS cable assembly for your display, controller or electronic equipment.
